Snow Report 3-14
Pow Day :-) & Closing Weekend :-(
It’s a crisp 24° as I am looking out over Sunrise lake this morning, glancing at eagles as they revel in the melting lake ice and the prospect of a fresh fish for breakfast. We received about 3 more inches of snow during open hours yesterday and another 2-3" in the overnight hours, putting the storm total at 8 to 9 inches total. Hello weekend!
Temps predicted to reach the low 40s today and a light breeze out of the southwest at 7mph, and loads of sunshine for ya, so don't forget your sunscreen and protective eyewear!
Cyclone is now CLOSED due to avalanche danger.
We received word last night that closing day for Sunrise will be March 15 @ 4pm. You can read the official statement HERE.
The Spring Fever Rail Jam has been cancelled.
The Lucky Leprechaun Look-Alike Contest and the End of the Rainbow Scavenger Hunt are still game on! 2 lucky winners will be going home with a new 2020/21 Season Pass!
